I am a London-based journalist. As a freelance writer, I regularly contribute to The Financial Times, The Times, The Guardian, The Washington Post, The Times Literary Supplement, The New Statesman and The Spectator. I also work in television making documentaries and current affairs programmes. I co-directed the film Ramadan: A Journey Across Britain for ITV and produced Britain Decides, Channel 4's election night broadcast for the 2024 UK general election.
